Omega -3 tips.
1. The first thing to look for is a high quality natural
supplement. Because of the chances of Mercury and PCB contamination from fish you will want to make sure that
the label tells you how they handle this issue. If its not on the label find the contact information and ask. Any
reputable company will have that information available for you.
2. A quality Omega-3 supplement will have a high Omega-3 content and should
be DHA dominant. As much as 1000 mg of Omega-3s is a good number to look for. Then the highest quantity should be
from DHA.
3. If your not eating at least 2 good meals of fish each week you should
definitely be supplementing with a good Omega-3.
4. Inflamation is a key source of diseases in the human body. Issues in all major
systems in the body can be traced back to inflammatory disorders. Joints, Heart, skin, immune system, and
allergies, to name a few. Fish oil helps fights inflamation.
5. Always check with your personal physician before taking any new form of
supplements as everyone reacts differently to any given product.
